answer- The MRI machine has a very powerful magnetic field, which is measured in a unit called Tesla. MRI machines usually used in hospitals ranges from 0.5 Tesla to 3.0 Tesla, ie about 5,000 to 30,000 gauss strength. Comparison, the magnetic field of the Earth is only 0.5 gauss, that is, the magnetic force of the MRI machine is thousands of times more than the earth.
