answer- Gandhiji’s diet was minimalistic. He was a vegetarian and considered non -vegetarian violence. His routine was also very disciplined. He used to get up at 4 am. After getting up, he used to walk for about 5 kilometers daily. Their diet mainly included fruits (banana, apple, oranges), dry fruits (almonds, walnuts), milk or curd, vegetables (spinach, carrots, pumpkin, gourd) and grains (wheat, millet, rice).
He used jaggery or honey instead of sugar. Apart from this, he used to fast once a week. On this day he used to take fruit or liquid diet. He considered fasting the way of body detox. answer- Gandhiji’s diet was based on the rhythm of nature. Therefore, if you have diabetes or thyroid, then before adopting it, please consult a doctor.
Initially increase the fruit in the first one mile. Then gradually include fruit-vegetables, coarse grains, milk, yogurt and dryfruits in the diet. Use jaggery or honey in sweet, avoid sugar.
