Under Section 291 of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) 2023, it would be considered a crime if the owner does not take the necessary precautions for controlling his pet or protecting others.

In this situation, a maximum of 6 months imprisonment, a fine of up to Rs 5000 or a sentence of both can be sentenced. Apart from this, the owner has to compensate for the treatment, compensation and property loss for the treatment of the injured person, which the victim can recover through the civil case.

answer- The society cannot completely stop keeping pets directly, but can set some limitations to maintain security and system.
